I have decided that after my long absence Streuth needs more focus, so part of the focus from now on is to be that much more parochial, from now on I will endeavour to focus on Australia and Melbourne first, that doesn't mean I am going to ignore the other goodies, just means I will have more opportunities to bring you great local talent like Matt's Bags.
Yes this is the home of Crumpler and we do have a wealth of great bags (I for one have at least 20 bags all for various purposes) but Matt's bags have a lovely style about them, great for the laptop, great for going out boys or girls.

Originally designed as a boating shoe, it has now become known for the beach, the chef, the garden - make your own decision..

I love American Apparel, they make very fine cotton clothing under or overwear, they have cool stores and are in tune with environment and globalisation issues - how can you feel more comfortable in your tight pants - buy them from a vendor with conscience!

Chaos Clothing is based just around the corner from my place in Port Melbourne, they are funky t-shirts with great lines like "if you can read this, you can read" and "whales suck" or "what if Google was wrong" my personal favourite "famous people are human too"
Tee Shirts $35

Streuth..... here is the latest in personal close body protection for your keys, cards and phone. In fact assuming you want to keep your communicator that close to the body, you could get quite a tingle by setting your phone to silent vibrate mode.

I am sure the ladies reading this will absolutely appreciate this one. A solar powered handbag with builtin interior light...
The energy is stored in an internal battery which lights up the lining.
The lining is made from an electroluminescent material similar to that found in mobile phones and is lit up by the bag's zip which acts as a switch.
The bag goes dark when the zip is closed or after 15 seconds if it is accidentally left open.
